Edgeboard | I’ve posted about Hampus Jageland branding for Meanwhile but his recent branding for Edgeboard just can not be ignored. Edgeboard are handmade chopping boards from the Northern Beaches in NSW that possess a special feature; an edge which you use to slide off the chopped food against. They use a natural anti-bacterial wood sourced form the Byron Shire. The identity is based on the board’s special feature, the edge, and the brand comes to life using the edge in any any application. A simple, structured logo is used in combination with textured and environmentally friendly stocks.

So gorgeous. My mind was blown by this elegant breaking of the rules.

Amsterdam-based Bryan Stewart created a typeface based on unique DNA. ‘Skin Type’ features the capital letters A to Z written in black ink on Stewart’s skin. “Everyone has one. Any time you’ve written on your hand, you’ve created one,” he wrote about the typeface. What does your skin type look like? (via ‘Skin Type’: What Is Your Unique DNA Typeface? - DesignTAXI.com)
